Xenical And Using It Properly

When Xenical first appeared on the market in the United Kingdom it created quite a stir. Many people thought that this was the drug that they were waiting for that would solve all their weight problems and allow them to eat what they wanted without piling in the pounds but this is far from true. Xenical is a very effective weight loss drug when it is used properly but it is not a lifestyle medicine that can just be popped after a fatty meal with the hope that you will not put on as much weight as you should.
The first thing to remember is that Xenical is not meant to be used by normal weight or healthy overweight men and women but is a drug that must be prescribed by a doctor for patients who have severe weight problems or who have weight related illnesses.
The other thing that people often get wrong about Xenical is that it can’t be used properly if you carry on eating a high fat diet. Xenical is designed to be used in conjunction with a low fat diet. Xenical works by taking out about a third of the fat already present in food and excreting it out of your digestive system. People who continue to eat a lot of fatty food when using Xenical are likely to have digestive problems and suffer from diarrhoea as well as stomach cramps and excessive flatulence.
In short just remember that Xenical is just there to give you a helping hand to your weight problem but will not sort it out alone and will require a big input from you too in the form of diet and exercise. At Ukmedix we have seen that Xenical has helped obese people get over the hurdle of weight loss and it has got many people back to a healthy and normal weight which they may not have been capable of doing alone.
