it would be safer to wear nappies on the pitch as an added precaution

An unconfirmed report claims that the football legend Ronaldo once used the weight loss medication Xenical to shed a few pounds and that he was terrified about the potential side effects. According to his former manager and coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo when he was playing for the Brazilian national side in 1999 Ronaldo needed to lose some weight and the team doctor gave him a prescription for Xenical.

Ronaldo Concerned About Xenical Side Effects Says Luxemburgo

Apparently the drug worked well and helped him to shed the extra pounds however because Ronaldo did not modify his diet like he should have he suffered from loose bowel movements that caused him a lot of stress. Luxemburgo claims that it got to the point where Ronaldo actually decided that it would be safer to wear nappies on the pitch as an added precaution just in case he had an embarrassing accident. The diet drug Xenical did not stop Ronaldo from winning the Golden Boot and scoring five goals.

This story underlines an important side effect of Xenical which should be understood before you start to take it. If you want to lose weight effectively with Xenical you must also modify your diet to exclude excessively fatty food stuffs. If you don’t do this and you continued to eat high fat foods you will suffer from loose and fatty stools as well as flatulence (farting) which could cause you considerable embarrassment. People who lose the most weight with diet drug Xenical are those who use it properly in conjunction with a low fat and healthy diet.

As of yet, Ronaldo has not confirmed or denied the story about using Xenical and wearing nappies on the pitch. It could also be possible that Xenical is a banned drug under FIFA and WADA rules so that the less said about it the better. The weight loss drug and appetite suppressant Reductil is not allowed to be used by professional athletes and some have been banned from playing their sports as a result of using it.
