FDA Approves Xenical Label Change

The American Food & Drug Administration has issued the approval of slight changes to the labeling of the weight loss drug Xenical. The label will now include information about the very rare instances of liver injury that have been noted with thirteen cases. The FDA did point out that this labeling change did not mean that the use of Xenical had been the cause of the liver injury but in line with established practice and following the recent review of Xenical they felt it would be prudent to do so.

At Ukmedix News we are aware that this type of FDA labeling change could be a cause of concern to people thinking of using Xenical or those people who are already using this diet medication. In a nutshell our advice is quite simple and that is that you are far more likely to damage your liver by being obese then you are by using Xenical.
This does not mean that you should completely ignore the FDA advice but you should just be aware that should you start to suffer from any symptoms of liver damage for example yellow eyes and skin, dark urine, light coloured stools or loss of appetite you should get yourself checked out with a doctor.
Xenical which comes in a 120mg dose should not be seen as a one stop shop for losing weight and you must also make the effort to eat healthily for best results. It is in fact more important to eat healthily when using Xenical then when not using it because if you eat fatty food and then take Xenical you are likely to suffer from side effects such as diarrhea, excess flatulence and stomach cramps.
Xenical is a unique weight loss medication in that it removes a small amount of fat from each meal that you eat which gives you an extra push when it comes to shedding the pounds.
