One of the most stupid things about diet books is the presumption that everybody is the same! Practically everybody has their own food weaknesses and they all tend to be different. For some people the idea of not eating sweets is just terrible and for others it is no problem at all. The same goes for carb rich foods like pasta and bread which some people describe as body fuel and claim that they can't think or function without it.

At Ukmedix News we reckon that practically all diet books are complete waste of time and that instead of reading them you should just formulate a practical plan for yourself. Write down your ideas so that you have a benchmark to work with. Make a list of little things that you can do to shave off a few calories here and there. For example switch to green tea instead of creamy cappuccinos and maybe have sushi for lunch instead of big sandwiches.
Take the stairs instead of the lift and try and walk to the shops instead of driving. You should be able to identify at least ten different slight lifestyle changes which put together could make a big impact on your weight. We believe in lots of little changes at Ukmedix News rather than trying to make drastic ones which are hard to live up to and which you are likely to give up with after a few days.
One of the hardest things to do is to actually sit down and make your weight loss list. But it is important that you do it and try and read it every single day just to remind yourself of what you're trying to achieve. You might find it easier to make it a document on your computer desktop so that you can see it easily and you can make changes as and when you want.
Basically what we are telling you is that you should be writing your own diet book but you don't need to publish it and ram it down everyone else's throat just because it worked for you!
