Ukmedix News knows all about the importance of help when losing weight. The Ukmedix Forum is full of people egging each other on and encouraging them to stay with their eating plans to lose weight. We have also written on how getting a weight loss buddy to share tips on how to lose weight and possibly to exercise with can also produce good results.

This motivational aspect of weight loss has recently been highlighted when Jose Luis Garza from Mexico received help from a man who used to be the world’s heaviest man namely Manuel Uribe. Jose Luis who weighs almost 1,000lb was so desperate to lose weight that he went on television in Mexico begging for help.
Jose Luis has been unable to walk for a number of years and has to live in his bed. His weight ballooned after the death of both his mother and his father when he became depressed and he kept on going on eating binges. Jose Luis says that Manuel inspires him to be strong and courageous and gives him “the will to live”. He is also been warned by Manuel that this is no casual weight loss attempt but a matter of life and death.
Manuel, who once weighed 1,230 lbs and is in the Guinness Book of World Records as a result, has lost almost half of his body weight since embarking on a healthy diet with the help of his long time girlfriend Claudia Solis, whom he is marrying on October 26th. Jose Luis has also been helped by Claudia who has turned up at his house with fruit, protein supplements and sensible diet advice.
At Ukmedix News we wish Jose Luis the best luck with his weight loss attempt and we hope that in a year’s time we will be reporting the good news about his dramatic weight loss.
