Ukmedix has come across some interesting research recently that shows that doing exercise when parts of the body are warmed up using water filtered infrared A or (wIRA) will mean more weight loss and fat burning will occur. The scientist saw that when they put subjects on an exercise bike and warmed the waist, hips, and thighs with the wIRA over the course of the exercise more fat loss and burning occured.
The scientists from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt said that there work showed that it was 'physiologically plausible' that by warming and increasing the metabolism of the fat tissue in the variopus parts of the body using wIRA along with moderate physical exertion could actually help individual areas of fat to be burnt off and disappear more so than just by exercising on its own.
Previous research has shown that fatty tissue has a big amount of energy stores and also has a slow metabolism when the temperature is low and that it is possible to increase the temperature and local metabolism by using wIRA.
In this groundbreaking study forty obese females were put on an exercise bike for 45 minutes 3 times weekly over a four week period and the women were either told to exercise with or without the wIRA. The scientist used a special irradiation unit namely the Hydrosun 6000 to irradiate the various parts of the body such as waist, hips and thighs.
The wIRA will penetrate into fatty tissue very well and boost the metabolism in the particular area and thus make the fat easier to burn off. The Hydrosun 6000 could have commercial applications as it is small and can work with a simple electrical supply. The scientists said that the size of the obese females waists, hips and thighs using the wIRA were reduced over the course of the four weeks much more so than those who exercised but did not use the wIRA.
