Recently one of our newswriters in the Ukmedix newsroom moved house and this meant that she had to walk fifteen minutes every day to the closest train station. As a result, instead of being a little bit chubby she now has a perfect shape. She claims that she has not changed her diet one little bit but the small but regular morning exercise has made all the difference.

Now we are not going to state that all you must now do is walk fifteen minutes every morning and you will look perfect, but if you have a problem with your weight and you are serious about doing something about it you should try to include a brisk walk into your morning routine everyday. Early morning exercise gets your metabolism going at full power right through the day and people say that they feel more energised when they get to work.
Recently there has been a lot of talk in Liverpool over whether children should be taken to school by car or whether they should walk the distance there. A senior health official in Liverpool said that parents who made a point of driving their children to school and back were setting them a bad example and making them lazy and possibly obese. The health official Dr. Paula Grey said that not only would children get more obese if they were always taken to school by car but the city would become more polluted by all the short car trips. The problem of obese children in Liverpool is extremely severe with almost 15% of all primary school children having a BMI of 30+.
You should think about how much exercise you get to and see if you can think up ways to get a little bit of regular exercise in your daily routine. For example see if you can leave out a car journey or two everyday or maybe make a point of always using the stairs and not taking the lift at work. This little bit of exercise done every day could really work wonders for your weight and health.
