Anna Nicole Smith's Fatal Lifestyle

All of America seems to be talking about Anna Nicole Smith’s death

All of America seems to be talking about Anna Nicole Smith’s death from a suspected drugs overdose recently. We had by coincidence been giving her quite a few column inches at Ukmedix News over the last couple of weeks as we reported on her connection with a weight loss supplement company called Trimspa that she endorsed with her image.

Anna Nicole Smith

Anna Nicole who had become very overweight claimed that her use of Trimspa X32 had enabled her to shed the pounds and get her back to her Playboy Cover figure. We always knew at Ukmedix that this was highly unlikely as we have very little time for untested and unregulated diet supplements and now the evidence seems to suggest that we were right.

Not only were illegal drugs found near the body of Anna Nicole but various diet pills and even Slim Fast shakes. People often abuse weight loss supplements as doctors do not prescribe them and so many of their manufacturers do not warn patients sufficiently about the dangers of overdosing on them. They are often claimed to be “natural” or “traditional” remedies that lull people into a false sense of security regarding their use.

While it is clear that she didn’t die from using the Trimspa X32 diet supplements they were all part of her unhealthy lifestyle and one thing is for sure is that no one is going to go out and buy them now and possibly other diet supplement sales will be hit too.

The Federal Trade Commission recently ordered Trimspa to pay millions of pounds in fines and damages for making unsubstantiated claims with regards to their products and one women announced that she was suing Anna Nicole personally for endorsing the Trimspa supplement that she said had to effect in her weight.

Ukmedix News is prepared to keep an objective mind on any new weight loss products that come on the market but we frown on the use of any weight loss product that has not been clinically tested independently.
