Ten Minutes A Day Can Make A Big Difference

Some people do not enjoy regular exercise...

It might seem a bit unlikely, but new research shows that just as little as ten minutes of regular physical exercise every day can help you lose excess weight. According to researchers in America who looked at hundreds of overweight and obese females even regular and small amounts of physical exertion can improve fitness and lower their blood pressure which in turn will give them a better quality of life.

Ten Minutes A Day Can Make A Big Difference

The research that was undertaken by Doctor Church from Louisiana State University is interesting because it shows that exercise does not need to be an “all or nothing” quest and that taking small amounts of regular exercise can also be very beneficial to health. Many health professionals advise that exercise must be an all important and integral part of your daily plan and recommend over two and half hours a week in the gym. For example the United States Centre for Disease Control & Prevention as well as the National Institute of Health both say that you should workout for at least thirty mins at minimum 4 times weekly, and The Institute of Medicine that is there to advise the United States government reckons that adults should get themselves “slightly out of breath” for just under an hour every day.

Some people do not enjoy regular exercise and therefore they find it a big strain to keep exercising. This new research should encourage them not to completely cut out their exercise but to make sure that they just get their ten minutes daily so that they keep their bodies ticking over healthily. At Ukmedix News we often come across the attitude that you are either a fitness fanatic or you are not and that there is no middle ground and we think it shouldn't be like this. If you are the type of person who detests exercise then maybe you should find something that you do not find too difficult to do and just to make sure that you get your daily ten minutes.
