The Ukmedix newsroom reported recently that the Food and Drug Administration in America has been warning people to be very cautious about buying weight loss to medications online and we have recently come across a story that shows exactly why.

It appears that some consumers having bought Xenical online from a website that supported to be based in the United States of America ended up by not actually receiving the Xenical weight loss drug but by being sent a completely different medication, Reductil. Both Xenical and Reductil are very effective weight loss medications and if they are bought with a doctor’s prescription they can greatly help people suffering from obesity. However they are completely different in the way that they work and for example Xenical is particularly good for people who have heart problems and therefore cannot take certain appetite suppressants like Reductil. Reductil on the other hand is good for people who have healthy hearts but suffer from digestive problems that would make them unable to use the weight loss drug Xenical.
The idea that an online pharmacy would send somebody Reductil, which is a powerful appetite suppressant when in fact they wanted Xenical shows how irresponsible, and how little regard these unscrupulous internet pharmacies have for the health of consumers. Someone with a bad heart who used the Reductil drug could end up seriously ill.
The most important thing to remember when using weight loss medications is that you use them exactly as your doctor tells you to use them and that you are aware of all the side effects that the medications cause. Research shows that people who abuse weight loss medications do not lose weight in the long term and they put their own health at serious risk. At Ukmedix News we always remind our readers to be responsible with weight loss medications and remember that by taking too many of them you will not lose more weight but probably put on weight in the long term.
