One of the compounds found is completely banned

A new very urgent warning has come from the Dept of Health of Hong Kong regarding 2 weight loss products called Super Fat Loss and Natural Slimming. Testing done by the Department saw that they contained undeclared compounds which if used by the wrong individuals could be harmful. One of the compounds found is in fact completely banned for use because testing has shown that it can cause cancer.

Phenolphthalein In Weight Loss Product

Phenolphthalein has been used to treat constipation and has a laxative effect which can make people lose weight very unhealthy. The weight loss products Super Fat Loss and Natural Slimming made no mention whatsoever that they contained this dangerous compound and as the name of the second one suggests they appeared to be completely natural.

The Department of Health in Hong Kong said that the products were sold online which is a common ruse of criminals so that they lessen the chances of actually being physically caught in the act of selling these illegal medications.

It was also noted that the medications contained sibutramine which is a prescription medication that may help obese people to lose weight. It is an appetite suppressant that is extremely effective but should not be used by all people and therefore a prescription is required. Putting sibutramine in a so called “natural weight loss product” is extremely dangerous and irresponsible and could cause serious health complications in some individuals.

There are only a few prescription weight loss products on the market and if you need help to shed weight you should take advice from a doctor before you take any weight loss medications. The most popular weight loss medications available in the United Kingdom are Reductil, Xenical and Acomplia and Ukmedix can help you with an online consultation should you require these medications.

These medications are not a substitute for healthy eating and exercise but they can aid in the battle to lose weight.
