At Ukmedix News we feel that we should not give our own opinions on individual weight loss diets but the only impart the information that we receive from independent research done on different eating patterns. Opinions on individual weight loss diets can get extremely subjective and emotional and we tried to steer away from these two things. The Ukmedix News team is committed to objective and balanced reporting of the facts and we like you to make your own conclusions based on these facts.

One thing that we do warn people about are fad diets. Fad diets are often feel-good diets that give you the impression that weight loss is easy and that you do not need to differ your lifestyle in order to lose weight. At Ukmedix News we know that this is not the case and you need to consider a serious commitment to eating less and heating healthily if you want to lose weight and maintain a healthy weight.
At Ukmedix News we appreciate that people are different and therefore a diet that may work for one individual may be impossible for another person to follow. Some people who are very disciplined and precise may be able to follow a particular diet to the letter, but other people who are less disciplined may find diets that are excessively precise just too difficult to follow. One thing that we recommend for these people are weight loss principles. Simple things like making sure that you never over eat and that you get a variety of different foods in your diet can be much more effective in helping certain people lose weight.
For example many diets say that eating carbohydrates is a leading cause of obesity and thus many people try to cut them out completely from their diets. However from independent research we have seen that some people just don’t feel well when they cut out carbohydrates completely and for them this sort of diet just does not work. At Ukmedix News we feel that if a diet does not make you feel healthy the chances are that it is not good for you. If carbohydrates make you feel well you should eat them but at the same time this doesn't mean that you eat them to excess.
There is a lot to be said for cutting down carbohydrate intake and trying to avoid eating carbohydrates at night. Carbohydrates are a major supplier of energy for the body but if you have excess carbohydrates they will eventually turn into fat stores in your body and make you gain some weight. If you like spaghetti and other forms of pasta try to eat them at lunchtime as opposed to in your evening meal and get some exercise too.
