Scientists in America have been using mice with big muscles to show how to training and exercising with weights could be just as good as doing aerobic exercising when it comes to burning fat off the body. They could not actually get the mice to lift weights but by genetically modifying their muscles the mice ended up a looking like Super Mice.

The lead researcher for the project Kenneth Walsh said that the results were surprising because it is commonly thought that big muscles do not have a large capacity to burn fat and that traditionally aerobic exercise which does not require such big muscles is considered to be the better way to lose fat. The research which was carried out at Boston University noted that people should consider all types of exercise programs and should not rule out weight training completely.
If you are fat and want to lose weight it is important to eat carefully as well as to get some exercise. To start an exercise program try walking or running on a treadmill or using the cycling machine as you must take it easy if you are a beginner to the gym. You should play it safe if you are a very unfit and unhealthy person.
Weight training should be approached with caution especially if you are not familiar with it. You would be advised to get a trainer to start your weight training and also start with very low weights at the beginning until you build up some stamina and muscle.
At Ukmedix News the most important bit of information we can give you is that you do exercise that you enjoy and that you feel comfortable. If you do not enjoy it the chances are you will not continue doing it for very long. If you enjoy running in the park make sure that is what you do every day. If exercise is a chore and a pain you are likely to end up giving up.
