Power Foods Keep Latina Ladies Sexy

At Ukmedix News we always say that we are extremely wary of fad diets as so often they tend to promote excessive weight loss and don’t conform to healthy weight loss principles. However there’s no harm in going for a diet which is a bit of fun! For example we just came across a diet book called “The Hot Latin Diet” which according to the author can help women to get a hot Latina shape!

The author says that the reason why Latin American countries produce so many Miss Universe’s is because they eat a specific diet which is outlined in his book. According to Dr Manny Alvarez who also is the senior medical correspondent working for Fox News the reason why Latin American women are beautiful is because they eat what he calls the 7 Latin power foods, which help them to stay slim while at the same time maintaining their “natural curves”.
So what are these seven magic power foods?
Firstly Tomatillos, because they are high in antioxidants and full of vitamins (Incidentally Tomatillos are not to be confused with Tomatoes. See picture). Secondly Avocados because they have a low glycemic index and consist of healthy fat. Next on the list is cinnamon because it can lower blood sugar levels. The fourth power food is the humble Garbanzo bean which is high in fibre and protein and complex carbohydrates. Cloves of garlic come in at number five because of their cholesterol lowering properties. Number six is fiery chillies which are known to be high in minerals and also have antioxidant properties, (they also can boost the metabolism slightly.). Last but not least the number seven is Cilantro which has a low glycemic index and contains healthy minerals.
Doctor Alvarez says that you should try and incorporate as many of the above power foods into each meal that you eat in order to get best results. The recipes in the book are fun and look tasty. It is important that you eat food that you enjoy eating if you want to stay thin because trying to survive on food that you don’t like would eventually wear you down and increase the chances of you eating unhealthily.
At the end of the day is important that you eat well and throwing in these power foods will do no harm and in fact are likely to spice up your diet, make it more enjoyable and healthy.
