What do Beyonce, Scarlett Johansson and Kate Winslet all have in common? Apart from being actresses, beautiful and curvaceous they all have been recently inducted into the Ukmedix News Healthy Hall of Fame. How does one get into the Ukmedix Healthy Hall of Fame I hear you asking? Well we like women in the Ukmedix Newsroom who have a healthy attitude to life and their bodies and who are not completely weight obsessed. Beyonce, Scarlett and Kate have all come out in favour of healthy, sensible eating as opposed to trying to starve themselves.

In fact Kate has taken her campaign one step further as she is furious that a magazine called Grazia claims that she visited a slimming clinic which is something she denies categorically. She even said she is prepared to go as far as to sue the magazine for libel and slander as she feels that she is being made to look like a hypocrite for saying one thing and doing something different.
Kate Winslet who is a youthful looking 32 years old is very vocal about the fact that very skinny and undernourished celebrities can encourage young girls to under eat and this can lead to serious eating disorders like anorexia and bulimia. Kate even goes as far as to say that magazines that have very skinny models in them are banned from her house. At Ukmedix we like to see our girls looking healthy and fit, not undernourished and sickly. We applaud the actresses and models who promote healthy eating and are role models for young people.
On the wall just next to the coffee machine Kate joins Scarlett and Beyonce in the Ukmedix Healthy Hall Of Fame and we hope that other actresses will soon follow their example and if they do they’ll get put up on the wall too.
