...keeping trim and slim for her has been a “nightmare"

The famous singer Gwen Stefani has been very frank recently about her battle with her weight over the last twenty or so years.  She claims that since the age of ten she has always been super conscious of what she ate and whether she was putting on weight.  In fact she went as far as to say that keeping trim and slim for her has been a “nightmare“.

She said that her main motivation for keeping so trim was the fact that she liked to wear clothes and that she wanted to wear special clothes that she herself had made.  It seems that in her case vanity and the desire to look perfect all of the time has kept her weight in check. She went on to say that most of the day she ate healthy food but that once or twice a day she let herself have a small treat like a cookie or a pizza.

At Ukmedix News we have learnt from the hundreds of research projects that we have come across that successful dieting and weight loss involves realistic eating habits and that by completely depriving yourself of all of the foods that you love and crave can make you more likely to fail in your quest to lose weight. It is important to strike a balance between eating healthily and eating the things that you like. If for example you love pizza or pasta by all means include it in your diet but in small portions and not too often.

Gwen Stefani has been in the news a lot recently after she lost all of her extra weight that was put on doing her pregnancy. She confessed that it had not been easy to get back to her pre pregnancy weight and it had been a long and hard battle.
