The weekend is when you have to be very careful with regards to weight loss and dieting. If you work and you have a steady routine in the office it is possible to discipline yourself about what you eat and lose weight. When the weekend comes often your weight loss plan is put on the back burner and you start to binge and eat too much.

At Ukmedix News we believe that you should relax at the weekend and give yourself a treat but this not mean that you can eat three big calorie laden meals on both Saturday and Sunday. You need to remember that dieting and maintaining weight loss is a long term plan and that dieting and then eating too much on the weekend will leave you with a fluctuating weight, apart from the fact that it is not healthy.
Many people also eat too much when they are on holiday and when the temptations are just too difficult to resist. The best piece of advice that we received at Ukmedix News recently was that when you are on holiday you mustn’t let up on the exercise. This does not mean that you have to go and find a gym when you are taking in the sights of Rome or sunbathing on a beach in the Caribbean but what it recommends is that you do some form of physical activity every day.
In Rome it could be walking back to your hotel or running up to the top of the dome of St Peter’s in the Vatican, and in the Caribbean it could also be a long walk after lunch or a spot of waterskiing or windsurfing. Just make it a point to get the activity in every single day and you should end up with less of or no weight gain at all when you get back home.
