Simple Calorie Cutting Is Best Diet According To Dietician

a diet is no good for you if it places unrealistic demands on your eating habits

Marion J. Franz who is an expert on diet and nutrition has recently completed an exhaustive study with a team of researchers who examined 80 different diets and weight loss remedies. The conclusions of this extensive research are quite simple, namely that the old fashioned remedy of cutting calories and getting exercise are the best ways forward for long term weight loss and maintenance.

Simple Calorie Cutting Is Best Diet According To Dietician

He and his team noted that on average the volunteers in these weight loss studies lost between 11lb. and 19lb. and then over time would slowly gain a little bit more weight. They did however observe that in the long run people who cut down on calories and got a little bit of exercise were less likely to become seriously overweight or obese and on the whole were able to manage to keep their weight a reasonably healthy level.

At Ukmedix News we have examined hundreds of different diets from all parts of the world and we have seen consistently that the most successful diets are those that involve portion control and calorie cutting. The other thing that we have realised is that while the majority of diets do actually work it is no good embarking on a diet which is unrealistic for your lifestyle and for your eating patterns.

For example you may come across a book which promises and even guarantees two kilos of weight loss a week and this might seem very tempting but this diet is no good for you if it places unrealistic demands on your eating habits and thus you give up on the diet after a few days.

When you choose a diet find one that is easy to follow.  We have seen that the easiest diets of all are portion control diets because whatever situation you are placed in whether you are in a restaurant or eating with family or friends no matter what food is put in front of you, you are always able to limit your portion or just not finish everything on your plate. Complicated diets which involve eating certain foodstuffs at certain times of day are extremely difficult to follow especially if you have a busy schedule and working life.

So whatever you, do keep it realistic, keep it simple and good luck.
