the advice from the AMA is extremely sensible and practical

The American Heart Association has put out some guidelines on healthy guiding and has warned people away from certain diets that could lead to medical issues in the future. The American Heart Association said that the right way to lose weight and to diet is slowly and with a long term view. They said that it was very important that you get a balanced diet which had a variety of different foodstuffs.

They warned against types of diets which encouraged you to eat only one foodstuff group such as protein and also highlighted the dangers of very quick weight loss saying that many weight loss diets that promise extremely rapid weight loss are not properly researched and make unrealistic claims which could be extremely harmful to your health in the long term. They went on to say that people who did not eat a balanced diet could end up suffering from nutritional deficiencies.

The AMA also said that it was not enough to only concentrate on diet and that physical exercise was also essential to keep a healthy heart and to reduce the likelihood of suffering from heart disease in the future.

At Ukmedix News we feel that the advice from the AMA is extremely sensible and practical and we like the fact that they said that you should always encourage an effort to eat a variety of different foodstuffs as sticking to one type of food can make you extremely bored and frustrated with your diet which means that you are likely to break it or to overeat.

If you eat sensibly and you have a complete selection of different foodstuffs in your diet provided that you eat in moderation you should not put on weight and you should reap the health benefits in the long term. A little bit of exercise 3 or 4 times a week also goes a long way in boosting your metabolism and keeping your heart healthy.
