A man from Essex credits the humble baked bean from Heinz for his huge weight loss. In all he has lost over ten stone by replacing unhealthy fried food by baked beans. Neil King said that he simply ate baked beans at every single meal and the pounds started to fall off.

Baked beans are very healthy for you as they contain very little fat and are full of protein and fibre. Baked beans also contain healthy amounts of various the vitamins and nutrients such as folic acid, zinc potassium and iron.
Nutritionist that we spoke to at Ukmedix News said that while baked beans were good for you they should only be eaten as part of a balanced diet and should not be your only food intake. Nevertheless it may well be worth taking the risk of only eating baked beans to achieve weight loss then to stay at an unhealthy obese weight.
Baked beans are also a good food for people to lose weight because they have a very high satiety value meaning that they make you feel full up for a long time.
Baked beans are extremely popular in the United Kingdom and are often included in the traditional British fry up. They are probably the healthiest thing on the plate as they are not actually fried. In all around half a million tins of Heinz Baked Beans are eaten every day in the United Kingdom and that does not include other brands.
Mr. Neil King who is 40 years old said that he has been the butt of many jokes because of his large consumption of baked beans. His friends say that they are scared to light matches near him but he said that it is well worth the occasional jibes and teasing to have lost so much weight.
