The Milk Diet

Ukmedix has has learnt of a new diet that involves drinking lots of low fat or completely fat free milk everyday. Diary products are traditionally meant to be fatty and are not considered normally as part of a weight loss diet, but this new diet plan only uses the low fat versions of milk and that possibly is why it works.
Not everyone says that eating a diet full of dairy products is good for you however and nutrition experts are divided on the issue. The diet known as the The Got Milk? Weight Loss Challenge requires people to drink 24 ounces milk daily and also eat lots of dairy rich foods like yogurt and cheese. Obviously eating large amount of these foods can be bad for your general health and weight loss but for some people drinking milk and eating dairy products has been beneficial for them.
Most experts say that the simple fact of drinking milk is not likely to make you shed weight but using low fat milk as part of low fat dieting plans can help you to stop weight gain and promote weight loss. There also exists research to show that the nutrients in dairy products are actually good for the muscles and general health. Proponents of the diet argue that the milk diet works as it contains lots of protein and calcium that help the body to maintain and grow muscle mass which in turn helps to keep the calories burning off.
Ukmedix advises people to speak to a qualified nutritionist or a doctor before embarking on a weight loss program.
