refused to give her a refund

A word of warning to people using the social networking site Facebook is that advertisements for weight loss treatments do not always come from trustworthy sources. Many people believe that because Facebook has allowed them to advertise somehow they have checked out their products, but this is not the case as Rebecca Farrell from Manchester can verify.

Viv3 Weight Loss Scam

Rebecca innocently signed up for a free trial of the product called Acai berry and Life Cleanse after seeing it on a Facebook advert and was only charged £1 for packaging and posting. She used the product for a week but after feeling ill stopped taking them and thought nothing more of the whole episode. It was only when she started to notice sums of money being taken from her bank account that she began to suspect that she had been scammed.

The company which calls itself viv3and also uses the name Trading Planet refused to give her a refund and it was only because of the intervention of her bank Alliance & Leicester that she was able to get the money back.

Using fake weight loss medication is not only a waste of time because they are likely to be ineffective but is also potentially extremely dangerous to your health. There are hundreds of cases of people becoming seriously ill in the United Kingdom after purchasing weight loss medication online.

We come across these scams on a weekly basis at Ukmedix News and we try and warn our readers about most of them. We advise that you should never buy anything to treat weight loss unless it has been prescribed or given to you by a doctor.

At Ukmedix it is possible to have on an online weight loss consultation with a UK doctor so that he or she can advise you about the best way to lose weight and if need be prescribe you genuine and legal weight loss medications.
