Using The F Word

overweight people would rather be told to “F*** Off...

Can you handle the F word? We are not talking about the four letter version of it but the three letter version which is for many people far more offensive. If you are sensitive about your size you'll know what we're talking about.

Using The F Word

A survey conducted by Ukmedix News shows that overweight people would rather be told to “F*** Off” then be told that they were fat. Such is the power of the FAT word that it has led to eternal grudges, complete destruction of friendships, life changing decisions and chronic depression.

One girl who we spoke to at Ukmedix News spoke about how she had been called fat by a taxi driver and this seemingly uneventful event caused her to get completely drunk and take out her frustrations on all of her friends by being unpleasant and vindictive. Other people have spoken about how that being called fat was enough to start them on a downward spiral of unhealthy eating leading to anorexia and bulimia.

It is a strange paradox that many people who claim that they are comfortable with their size are in fact hypersensitive to any comment that people make about their weight. Even the suggestion that overweight individuals should skip desert can produce indignation and great offence. There are some people who are genuinely happy with their larger than normal weight but it is a fact of life that the majority of people who are overweight or obese hate being that size and wish they were thin.

Obesity is not just bad for you because it causes high blood pressure, reduces your life span, increases the likelihood of you suffering from a stroke or heart disease as well as cancer but it also is known to destroy self esteem, confidence and stop you from fulfilling your full potential. It is possible to lose weight but it requires honesty and determination. There’s no reason that you cannot shed the pounds for good and regain full control of your life.

If you are thin the Fat word becomes water off a duck’s back instead of a dagger to your heart.
