The FDA has ordered an immediate recall of all of the supplements distributed in the United States and which were sold on the internet. Possibly not all of the supplements have been laced with sibutramine and dumetanide and further testing is going on to determine whether other batches have also been affected.

It has not been made clear whether the distribution companies in the United States will be made criminally liable for the fact that a number of rules have been broken with regard to prescription medications and false reporting. The companies may claim that these capsules were made in China and that they dodn't have knowledge of the potentially dangerous addition of prescription medication.
