Ukmedix News Talks Green Tea...Again

Sometimes all that is needed for weight maintenance is just a little push

Here we go again, harping on about the benefits of drinking green tea but it is because we honestly believe that most people don't realize how good it is for you and how powerful it can be as a weight loss tool.

ukmedix news talks green tea...again

At Ukmedix News we have interviewed both men and women who claim that the simple step of making sure that they consume at least three cups of green tea every day keeps them from putting on weight. Now, at Ukmedix News we are a serious and credible news organization so we are not going to claim that green tea is going to make the pounds fall off you, but it does work as a very mild appetite suppressant and research has been done which shows that it does marginally speed up the metabolism.

Sometimes all that is needed for weight maintenance is just a little push and it is this sort of push which green tea can provide. As well as its physiological benefits, drinking green tea also provides a considerable psychological boost because it makes you feel good and positive about your health and this in turn will encourage you to eat sensibly. Instead of immediately ordering dessert the next time you go to a restaurant why not instead order green tea and see how you feel afterwards. The chances are you probably won't even think about eating after it.

Green tea can easily be substituted for your morning coffee, for that espresso after lunch and even contains a little bit of caffeine which should keep caffeine junkies happy. Too much coffee and caffeine will only make you feel nervous and anxious whereas green tea will just give you a little boost.

Make sure the green tea you buy comes from a reputable manufacturer, and avoid all green teas that make outlandish claims on the packaging. Green tea should be simply green tea and not "calorie loss, fat burning, extra boost green tea". At Ukmedix News we have come across fake green teas which even contain powerful prescription medications and banned chemicals, so just go to your local supermarket and buy something simple with lemon of other flavourings if you prefer.

I live in Italia, and have lost 8 kilos drinking green tea because just like you sayed it is a push to feeling good of yourself and drinking green tea instead of desert.
