If you want some no nonsense advice on how to get things done one of the best people to talk to would be Lord Alan Sugar; well known for his straight talking advice on the TV program Apprentice. Lord Sugar has recently written a diet book which only has one simple piece of diet advice which is to use a small fork when eating! (We reckon he might have got the idea from Ukmedix News!)

Lord Sugar says that his weight loss eureka moment came when he was given a tiny fork to open and eat clams. He said that he had the idea that he should use this tiny fork for the rest of his meal as it would be a great way to eat slowly and therefore eat less. There is loads of research which shows that people who consume their food slowly are more likely to be slim and that people who eat fast tend to be overweight.
To this day Lord Sugar uses a tiny fork whenever he can and credits it with keeping his weight in check and preventing him from a yo yo pattern of weight gain and weight loss. He calls his diet The Tiny Fork Diet and has been telling everybody to buy his book which contains a whole lot of other advice you might find useful.
At Ukmedix News we have always argued that the simpler the diet the more likely it is to work and this Tiny Fork Diet is extremely simple. You just need to make sure that you are eating slowly and this can easily be achieved if you only have a small fork to work with. This diet has the same concept as The Pistachio Principle which focuses on taking time over food.
As well as weight loss, the other big benefit of eating slowly is that you enjoy and savour your food much more, so you will feel that you have eaten much more despite smaller portions.
No harm in giving The Tiny Fork Diet a try?
