by having regular sexual intercourse you are initiating a cardiovascular workout

Ukmedix News recently wrote about the fact that a study done in Finland involving almost a thousand men saw that regular sexual activity can in fact boost erectile function and significantly lessen the chances of suffering from erectile dysfunction.

The Sun Says Keep Having Sex

Ukmedix News has learned that The Sun newspaper decided to go one step further and show that regular sexual intercourse can have a lot of other health benefits which should not be underestimated.

For example by having regular sexual intercourse you are initiating a cardiovascular workout which is estimated to burn a round 300 calories an hour, (even more depending on how vigorous you are). Sexual intercourse is also known to reduce levels of stress as it releases a chemical hormone called oxytocin which is a relaxant. This compound is sometimes called the cuddle chemical.

Other compounds released by sexual activity are endorphins which are known to make you feel better and also relieve pain. So possibly you should actually make a point of having sex if you have a headache rather than avoiding it. Endorphins are also known to beat depression and anxiety.

Regular sex is regular exercise and one study done by the University of Bristol claims that both men and women who have sex three times a week can reduce the likelihood of suffering from a heart attack or from a stroke by 50 percent. You also keep your muscles tuned and fit if you indulge in regular sexual activity.

Another claim made by the Sun Newspaper regarding regular sexual activity is that it can make you look younger by boosting the levels of oestrogen and other essential hormones which will have a good effect on your skin and hair.

Lastly but by no means least The Sun quotes the study in the New Scientist Journal which claims that regular sex can boost your immune system because it produces a compound called lgA which is an essential part of your immune defence system.
