The Right Breakfast Could Be The Magic Bullet

eat something which provides you with steady but slow energy release

If you find that the biggest challenge of keeping slim is the temptation to eat unhealthy throughout the day it is probably because you are not starting your day with a good breakfast and more importantly with the right sort of breakfast. Starting out on the right foot at the beginning of the day could mean that instead of being plagued by hunger pangs and food cravings, instead you are much more calm and have much more consistent energy levels.

the right breakfast could be the magic bullet

So, what is it that you need to do in order to keep your appetite in check? You just need to eat a good breakfast and one which contains high levels of fibre, plenty of protein and not too much sugar. What you want to do is eat something which provides you with steady but slow energy release and that is why fibre is so good.

Having something like a couple of poached eggs on whole wheat toast will be much more effective than eating white bread and butter, [apart from tasting much better too.] You should also think about having high fibre cereals and not worrying too much about the quantity.

So many people think that by skipping breakfast they will be consuming less calories throughout the day but research shows that this is not the case at all. People who don't eat breakfast actually eat more later on in the day. Not only this but people who skip breakfast are usually starving by the midmorning and end up having something like a doughnut "just to keep them going".

If you are overweight and you are not thinking seriously about what you eat for breakfast this may be the exact cause of the weight problem that you are facing. We are not trying to say that by having breakfast all of your weight loss programs will be solved but it could make it for example 50 percent easier for you to avoid unhealthy food later on in the day which could be all the help that you require to stay slim.

Find a breakfast which works for you and which you enjoy and you could change your life!

Great article! I love a good breakfast and usually feel guilty eating it, however it is good to know its not the quantity but the quality that counts!
