we extend to Gordon Brown our heartiest congratulations

Have you noticed that the PM of England, Gordon Brown is looking a little more slender these days? Well, in fact he has lost over one stone in weight over the last summer which prompted the President of France Nicolas Sarkozy to parade him around in front of other Prime Ministers and Presidents of Europe at a recent E.U. summit meeting.

The PM Loses Weight

As with all weight loss successes, Gordon Brown took the simple way. The first thing he did was ban snacks which were placed all around offices in Downing Street. Things like crisps and peanuts which are so tempting to nibble on especially in stressful moments have all been banished. Gordon Brown has also been spotted going for early morning runs which will be having a great effect on boosting his metabolism and thus he will burn more calories throughout the day even when he is just sitting at his desk.

Mr Brown has an inspiration for weight loss in his wife who has also shed a considerable amount of weight over the last year and did so by exercising and eating healthily. Many people say that it is easy for Mr and Mrs Brown to lose weight because they have access to personal trainers and they can instruct the Downing Street cooks to keep the food healthy and low fat. However on the other side of the coin Mr and Mrs Brown will also be invited to state banquets, and other lavish meals all over the world where the temptation to overeat is considerable as well putting themselves in a position where it could be rude to refuse to eat.

Whatever the case, whether you are a Prime Minister or just a regular citizen weight loss requires a certain amount of effort and therefore from the Ukmedix News Team we extend to Gordon Brown our heartiest congratulations and hope the this new weight loss initiative on his part will be extended to initiatives around the country to help the thousands of individuals who suffer from obesity.
