Stay away from teas which promise instant weight loss

If you are trying to lose weight should you drink Tea or Coffee? Well, the jury is still out on this but at Ukmedix News we reckon that tea is definitely the way forward and here's why. Firstly there are loads of different types of tea all of which can work as appetite suppressants and very slight metabolic boosters.

Probably the best type of tea to drink if you are trying to lose weight is green tea because there are so many different varieties of it with different flavours available. Green tea with lemon, green tea with apple, green tea with herbal infusions... the list goes on forever.

Stay away from teas which promise instant weight loss because they could well contain a whole lot of powerful prescription drugs which could be dangerous to your health. Also be wary of 'detox' teas or any other tea that promises miraculous health benefits because they are definitely scams. At Ukmedix News We've even come across some tea manufacturers claiming that their teas can boost erectile function and actually cure impotence.

Also don't put masses of milk and sugar in your tea but instead train yourself to learn to drink tea without additives. As for coffee, the reason why we would recommend you don't drink too much of it when you are trying to lose weight is because the high caffeine content can make you nervous and stressed which can lead you to make poor food choices.

People who are trying to lose weight can be on edge as it is because of hunger pangs associated with sudden food changes and the last thing they need is more anxiety brought on by too many espressos. Research also shows that you are more likely to add larger quantities of sugar and milk to coffee then you are to tea.

If you are in the process of quitting smoking having regular tea breaks and staying away from coffee is also a good idea.

I quit smoking, I quit drinking and I think I have changed from a happy go lucky Italian chap to a not so happy go lucky one! I feel I am boring!
