Take Your Healthy Life On Holiday Too

Another useful tip is to introduce an exercise for dessert rule

It’s holiday time! Stop and think about your weight before you go on holiday and work out ways of making sure that you don’t come back having put on the four or five kilos that you struggled so hard to lose. It is so easy to let yourself go when on holiday but actually not that difficult to keep yourself in check and enjoy a few great meals in the process.

Take Your Healthy Life On Holiday Too

One of the first mistakes that people make one on holiday is that they get up late and go and have a huge breakfast in the hotel and feel that they have gorge themselves just because it’s free and part of the package.  No you don’t have to have cereal, all the different types of bread, and then follow up with an English cooked breakfast. Think carefully and plan ahead. Probably it’ll be more fun to indulge a little bit at lunch or dinner so keep it healthy at the breakfast table.

Another useful tip is to introduce an exercise for dessert rule. What we mean by this is that you should make a promise to yourself that you will only order dessert if you have either done some significant exercise or that you will do so later. Try and incorporate fun activities into your holiday such as running or going for a long walk along the beach.  Many holiday hotel resorts have fun activities like Pilates or Yoga and now is the best time to try them.

Drinking lots of water is probably the best and simplest tip to follow. Keep a tab on how much water you have drunk every day and if you drink alcohol make sure you get even more water. On the subject of alcohol again watch out because sugary alcoholic drinks have loads of calories in them which could make the difference between you putting on weight or maintaining your healthy weight when on holiday.

It is possible to enjoy yourself and at the same time keep your weight and check, you just need to use a little bit of common sense.

Yes Chichita, you are wrong and one day when you get sick because of your unhealthy eating you'll regret being reckless with your health...
