Stupid Diet Tips

trying to make your life even more difficult

OK, so we know that when people write diet tips for various magazines, blogs and other media they are usually trying to help and trying to be a force for good to deal with one of the biggest problems that the western world is facing, namely obesity. Unfortunately however there are a lot of people out there who seem to live in cuckoo land about what ideas will and won't work to lose weight.

stupid diet tips

For example have you ever read a weight loss article which tells you to consume no more or no less than 100g of whatever they are trying to get you to eat. So, if they are advising you to eat 100g of banana are you supposed to firstly go and get your weighing scales, then carefully cut up slices of banana until you have exactly 100g and then add it to a whole lot of other items which you have previously weighed out??

Take it from us at Ukmedix News that if you are weighing your food you are on the fast track to diet failure. It's tough enough not to be tempted by unhealthy foodstuffs so what diet guru is trying to make your life even more difficult by telling you to weigh every damn thing you eat!!

There are so many stupid diet tips out there which are so obviously written by people who firstly have never had a weight problem, secondly who don't live in the real world and thirdly think that by making more and more rules and regulations surrounding the diet they are more likely to get people to follow and stick to them!

The idea that a diet plan tells you in grams exactly how much fruit and vegetables you are allowed to eat is just plain stupid because any sensible weight loss plan will allow you to eat as much fruit and veg as you want.

Ukmedix News has seen time and time again that complicated diets always fail and that the simple ones grounded in broad but solid principles are the most effective. You should be able to explain your weight loss methods in a couple of short sentences, it really is that simple!
