If you think that all weight loss pills are harmless read on!

A nineteen year old female student is dead as a result of consuming weight loss tablets. Ms. Natthiyaphorn Udomkantrong from Thailand was trying to lose weight to get into a uniform for a University that she had recently been admitted to. She had lost 20kg in two months and an autopsy confirmed that it was heart failure that she died from.
It is not yet known what was in the tablets but the Thai police said that they would be submitted for testing and that the pharmacy that sold them would be investigated. The tablets were described as being pink and oval and the dead girl's younger sister said that she had also taken white tablets for some time too.
Weight loss meds can help you to lose weight but if you take fake ones they can actually kill you. You should never use any medication for weight loss unless it has been issued to you by a doctor. If you buy some dubious sounding tablets from the internet or from somebody you meet in the gym for example you are setting yourself up for serious health problems which could be irreversible.
Ukmedix News recently came across the case of a healthy young man who decided to take "performance boosting" tablets before he entered into a rowing competition. He ended up straining his heart muscle which could have caused a heart attack and was hospitalised for a whole week wired up to a heart monitor.
The people who try to promote herbal, natural or traditional weight loss medications often have no idea what is actually in them and what they can do. If you are eating healthy, and you are getting regular exercise there is absolutely no reason why you need weight loss medication.
The only weight loss medication which is tried and tested and has clinical approval in the United Kingdom at present is Xenical, using any else is just plain stupid and dangerous!
