S&S Super Slender Warning

An urgent warning put out by the Department of Health in Hong Kong says that people should not take the weight loss product S&S Super Slender which they said contains illegally manufactured chemicals that could cause serious adverse events.

When S&S Super Slender was tested recently one sample was found to contain a doctored version of the key ingredient of the weight loss drug Reductil and another sample of the same product also contained the chemical phenolphthalein. It is typical of illegally manufactured weight loss products that they tend to contain different amounts and types of active ingredients in each batch.
The chemical phenolphthalein has actually been banned by medical authorities around the world because it has shown to have a cancer inducing effect. It was originally used as a laxative to treat patients suffering from constipation and therefore its weight loss effect would be purely superficial from loss of water which could lead to dehydration. The S&S Super Slender product is usually found online and is sold in either a 120 capsule bottle or in 60 capsule packets.
Using weight loss products which have not been given to you by a doctor is reckless and has been described by the World Health Organization as playing Russian Roulette with your health. Ukmedix News has come across cases of severe health problems and even death caused by the use of counterfeit weight loss medication.
You should be especially careful of weight loss products which claim to be natural, traditional or herbal because they are potentially just as dangerous. These products which normally are packaged in green boxes to give you the idea that what you are using is perfectly harmless have been found to contain a whole list of different powerful chemicals many of which have never been put to proper scrutiny by health authorities. The danger is exacerbated because the products are manufactured by criminals who have no concern for health and hygiene regulations.
Unless it comes with a prescription and on a doctor’s recommendation you should steer clear of it. Always check that your weight loss medications comes from a licenced UK pharmacy and this can be done online using the Pharmacheck system.
