At Ukmedix News we have been harping on about the importance of good sleep to treat not only impotence but also weight loss. The facts are clearly there to see from many different research projects showing that people who do not sleep well are more likely to suffer from erectile dysfunction and are more likely to be overweight.

Well, the reason many people do not get good sleep is because they live stressful lives [another indicator of both impotence and weight gain] and thus they find it difficult to wind down and fall asleep when their head hits the pillow. It is possible to get good sleep but you need to plan ahead!
At Ukmedix News we always like to keep it simple so for the time being we are not going to tell you to go and get sleeping pills because they should only be used as a very last resort. The first thing you should do to get goods sleep is to eat well before you go to bed. Yes, we know that many weight loss experts, nutritionists and fad diet promoters say that you should not eat after sundown but frankly we reckon they are talking rubbish. We would argue that the best time to eat is just before you go to bed!
Research we have previously published by Ukmedix News shows that it does not matter what time of day you eat your carbohydrates provided that you do not eat too many calories over the course of the day. So if you are having trouble sleeping why not save your carbohydrate intake for the evening before you go to bed. Maybe have a small plate of spaghetti or a brown bread sandwich and go to bed with a full stomach. Capitalising on that feeling of satiety, drowsiness and fullness which accompanies eating carbs could help you to get a good nights sleep.
Other things like having a glass of warm milk, having a hot shower or watching TV to wind down before going to bed can all help to get you a good night's sleep. Never underestimate the importance of good night's sleep for good sexual function and healthy weight loss.
