Are you eating regular meals? Or are you one of those people who eats sporadically when and where the opportunity presents itself? At Ukmedix News we want to warn our readers about the dangers of not eating regular meals!

regular meals and regular snacks the way forward

For example research has shown that people who do not get a regular breakfast are much more likely to be overweight, eat unhealthily and generally be out of shape. Having a good breakfast means that you do not suddenly become very hungry in the middle of the day and make poor food choices.

The reason why eating regular meals is essential is because it keeps you from getting too hungry and suddenly craving large amounts of unhealthy food. Some people like to argue that because they do not eat snacks in between meals they are somehow being virtuous but this probably means that they get to table starving and therefore they eat much more than normal.

Having regular snacks is as important as having regular meals because snacks keep hunger at bay. A simple weight loss tip would be to make sure that you never allow yourself to get hungry. If you are following a diet regime which means that you constantly hungry you are almost certainly following the wrong diet.

When we talk about snacks at Ukmedix News we do not mean chocolate and muffins but healthier stuff like fresh fruit and nuts. If you made a commitment to eat say four pieces of fruit and a handful of unsalted nuts every single day you would probably find it much easier to eat healthily when you got to your regular meals.

Losing weight should be more about making positive steps to change your eating habits rather than denying yourself snacks and regular meals. The evidence is out there that regular meals and regular snacks help people to lose weight and maintain weight and you should not ignore it!
