Keep up the good work Princess Bea!

Everybody has been so busy talking about the eye catching hat which Princess Beatrice wore at at the royal wedding last month that they seem to have forgotten her considerable achievement in losing weight and getting fit over the last year.

princess bea weight loss and her amazing hat

Princess Beatrice has lost thirteen kilos from her peak and is still a regular runner following her stint in last year's London marathon. The challenge which Princess Beatrice will face throughout her life is the maintenance of her weight. It's pretty obvious that she knows how to lose weight and she has obviously had good nutritional advice from the best experts in the field, but when they have done their bit and she has reached her target weight it will be up to her to keep slim.

This is the challenge which her mother Sarah Ferguson , The Duchess of York has always faced. At times the UK press lambasted her for her rapid weight increase, and her yo-yo weight gain and weight loss patterns were played out in newspapers around the world.

If Princess Beatrice can keep slim and looking as good as she looks now for the rest of her life she will have nothing to worry about. It must be pretty horrible to have newspapers around the world trying to take unflattering photos of you when you put on a bikini, but if you're looking good and you stay looking good they'll soon get bored of you.

Incidentally, her much talked about hat fetched a whopping £81,000 at auction and raised money for the charities UNICEF and Children in Crisis. Maybe the fact that she was looking so glamorous with her new trimmed down slim figure greatly improved the price for people were prepared to pay.  There's nothing like a little bit of sexy glamour to get men bidding like crazy!

Keep up the good work Princess Bea!
