Obesity Spray CP404

A new weight loss remedy that is undergoing research and development is the nasal spray from Compellis Pharmaceuticals based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The way the spray works Is very simple, it just neutralizes the aromas and taste sensations that come from food so that you feel the urge to eat delicious food less. It is a very simple idea really but one that has not been developed at all until Compellis sought to give it a go.

The idea is that a person having taken the spray and who walks down the road will not be tempted to pop into a shop for a donought or a slice of pizza as they will not smell the delicious aroma coming out of the shop. They also will not be compelled to overeat also as they will not experience food sensations so severely.

Compellis are planning to start the human clinical trials of their new nasal spray next year and has already registered and had a patent for the product confirmed. The boss of Compellis has argued that if a way to stop the hunger pangs that come with smell food can be achieved simply with a spray then this product could become a blockbuster in the future and really help people who are overweight and obese.

The new product still has no commercial name and is just at present called CP404 and while there are high hopes for the product it is nevertheless competing against hundreds of other companies in the drive to come up with effective weight loss remedies. The weight loss industry in America and in the EU is massive and has grown massively over the last decade as many so many more people are now overweight or obese.

CP404 is still at least 2 years from being approved commercially for sale and Ukmedix will keep you up to date on a regular basis about the new nasal spray.
