having sex with multiple men

There are hundreds of different reasons why obesity is bad we are not going to go into all of them over here but this one should make parents in the United Kingdom sit up and take note!

Obese Teenage Girls More Likely To Have Unprotected Sex

A new study done by scientists at the Medical University of South Carolina has confirmed other research we published at Ukmedix News which shows that teenage obese girls have a much greater likelihood of having unprotected sex earlier in their lives and also having sex with multiple men when compared to normal weight teenage girls. The researchers even said that the more obese the girls were the greater chance that they would be promiscuous.

Some parents are under the misguided impression that the fact that their teenage daughters are obese somehow protects them from men, however this research has shown this not to be true and that parents who are concerned about the sexual activity of their daughters should be encouraging them to be of a normal weight.  If your daughters are overweight you should maybe make a special effort to make sure that they know about the dangers of unprotected sex.

It is not our place at Ukmedix News to advise parents on how to bring up their children and how to talk to them about sex but we can give you good advice on how to make your children healthy and thin. The first thing you need to do is to make sure that you are eating healthily too and that you are setting a good example not only when you eat at home but also when you go out to restaurants.

Remember that the biggest influence on eating habits to any child will come directly from its parents. Even if you are overweight yourself you can give impartial advice about healthy eating and warn about both the psychological and physical dangers of obesity.

Children are very sensitive about their weight and you should always approach weight loss efforts with great understanding and concern. Getting angry and being judgmental is counterproductive and is likely to produce more weight gain. Getting your children to be physically active not only helps them to burn off calories but is also likely to boost their self esteem and this in turn will motivate them to eat healthier too.
