So what do we think about the Morning Banana Diet at Ukmedix News?

The latest diet craze or fad is without a doubt the “Morning Banana Diet”. This diet which has really taken on in Japan involves the simple concept of eating a banana in the morning with a glass or 2 of water and then being free to eat whatever you want for the rest of the day until 8:00 at night. You are allowed to eat carbohydrates, protein or fat but you mustn’t have dessert after your meals. The other thing to be aware of is that you have to go to bed before midnight.

This diet which was designed by Sumiko Watanabe from Osaka to help her husband lose weight has been spreading around the globe like wildfire. There are reports of people having lost huge amounts of weight by simply following this weight loss plan and many retailers say that banana sales have rocketed in areas where the banana diet has caught on.

So what do we think about the Morning Banana Diet at Ukmedix News? Is this just a passing fad or is there real substance to eating bananas for breakfast? Well, the first thing to point out is that bananas are an extremely good thing to eat for breakfast. Not only are they rich in vitamins but contain slow releasing energy which will keep hunger pangs away for a considerable time.

Consuming a good breakfast is an extremely good weight loss tip because it prevents you getting hungry throughout the day which can keep you away from tempting high calorie snacks. So by the simple act of eating a banana or two every morning you are greatly increasing the chances of getting through the day without overindulging yourself and therefore increasing the chances of losing weight.

The other criterion which comes with this diet is that you mustn’t eat dessert and this simple concept is also a very powerful one when it comes to losing weight. Just last week we wrote about the famous model Twiggy who attributes her svelte figure to just avoiding dessert and nothing else.

So our conclusion regarding The Morning Banana Diet is that it has two simple concepts which put together can be a powerful force for weight loss. It is important however to remember that if you over eat at lunch and at dinner no matter how many bananas you eat or desserts you skip you will not lose any weight!
