often loaded with even more prescription drugs than are good for you

The most recent warning from the Food & Drug Administration regarding dangerous weight loss supplements involves the following four products. Slimbionic, SlimDemand Capsules One, Weight Loss Pill and Botanical Weight Loss were recently tested by the FDA lab and found to have undeclared quantities of the powerful appetite suppressant sibutramine.

More Dangerous Weight Loss Supplements Recalled

Sibutramine is the key ingredient in the diet medication Reductil and is perfectly safe but should not be used by certain people, (which is why it is a prescription medication).

At Ukmedix News we like to use an analogy in order to explain to you exactly how dangerous the manufacture and sale of these sorts of supplements are. If for example you were told by your doctor not to use paracetamol or aspirin because of health complications and because they were dangerous to your health you may well turn to ‘natural’ or ‘herbal’ painkillers. If when you actually got these so called natural and herbal painkillers they contained large amounts of paracetamol or aspirin you would in fact be putting your health in double jeopardy.

What happens is that many people who don’t want to use prescription weight loss drugs for whatever reason turn to supplements which they believe are natural when in fact they are often loaded with even more prescription drugs than are good for you. We have seen lab reports that show that the chemicals are even tampered with into versions which have never been tested clinically and which are potentially extremely dangerous to health.

Never forget that people have died from using weight loss supplements which they thought were harmless!

In many cases shops selling weight loss supplements in the United Kingdom are completely unaware of the fact that the products contain powerful prescription medications and the manufacturers usually pass them off as being completely natural even to the distributors.

At Ukmedix News however we believe that all weight loss supplements should be tested before they go on sale to make sure that they are safe. The problem is far worse in America but in the UK the number of cases of weight loss supplements being sold illegally with sibutramine in them has risen.

The best thing to do is never to use any weight loss supplement, drug or pill unless it has been given to you by a doctor.
