Sometimes inspirational leadership can provide that extra motivation

At Ukmedix News we all love Michelle Obama! Not only is she fun loving and pretty cool but she seems to have made a great effort to promote healthy eating values and nutritional advice to the American people. We also believe that if she puts her mind to it she will make a much more significant difference than any of her predecessors and the reason for this is not because her message on healthy eating and exercise is so different from other First Ladies, but because her message seems to be so much more real and easier for millions of young mothers all over the country to identify with.

Michelle Obama Has What It Takes To Inspire Americans

Sometimes inspirational leadership which you can relate to can provide that extra motivation to lose weight. If some grumpy doctor tells you in an insensitive way to cut down on eating and get a gym membership you may actually end up eating more, but if you get positive sensible advice from somebody in the same position as you and who understands what you are going through you are likely to be much more motivated.

Michelle Obama has been talking about how she’d love to eat French fries all the time if she could but realises that it is not only bad for her but also for her two girls. She and Barack understand more than most people the importance of setting a good example and how their good example will not just impact on their own family but also on the American people. Michelle speaks about how when her children see her and Barack exercising they will be conditioned into understanding that exercise is “a natural part of being an adult”.

Another thing which has been pointed out by nutritionists is that the black female population of America has higher obesity rates than the average and it is hoped therefore that Michelle’s example could have an effect in this segment of the population which is in dire need of help.
