In the United Kingdom the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency has yet again warned people to stop buying herbal slimming supplements online which they described as being extremely dangerous.

The MHRA specifically warned about Instant Slim and Sport Burner which they said are being heavily promoted on web sites and through the use of spam e-mail. They said that many of the products had large doses of the appetite suppressant sibutramine which has now been withdrawn from sale in Europe and the United States because of concerns that it can cause heart attacks and strokes in obese people.
Other European health agencies have also been warning about the use of these slimming products which become extremely sought after during the summer months. For example the Swedish Medical Products Agency has warned about the use of Health Slimming Coffee, Slimline Soft Gel, Acai Berry ABC, Li D Daidaihua, 3X Slimming Powder, Hygia Fit, Sport Burner, Instant Slim and Botanical Slimming.
It always amazes us how stupidly suggestive the names of these products are. In Hong Kong for example Super Fat Burning Bomb has been making the rounds and is the subject of a number of health warnings. How stupid could anyone be to use something called Super Fat Burning Bomb? However at Ukmedix News we understand that when people are desperate they are prepared to try anything.
A spokesman for the MHRA Mr. Richard Woodfield explained many people were duped into using these products because they were promoted as containing natural extracts but this did not mean they were safe and risk free. He went on to say that slimming medication should only be purchased after a consultation with a doctor and that the risk of buying these so called natural supplements was just too great.
At present in the United Kingdom the only weight loss medication approved for sale by the MHRA is Xenical. This medication works by removing some of the fat from your digestive tract that you ingest naturally and allowing it to be excluded naturally as waste.
It is possible to have an online consultation with a UK doctor at the Ukmedix web site should you feel that this medication may be good for you.
