The average female bum in the United Kingdom is significantly larger now than it was 50 years ago according to a report in the Daily Mirror. They say that overall the female bum in the UK is almost 2in. greater than it was half a century ago. There is also the added problem for women today because of the relentless media bombardment of physical perfection which makes them feel insecure about their figures.

Every woman in the United Kingdom has a one point said to a close friend, “Does my bum look big in this?” and if you want to really insult a woman all you need to do is tell her is that she has a fat bum and she’ll hate you forever. It is important that women ‘know their bum’ so that they can be realistic and practical with the sort of clothes that they wear and also the sort of results that they can expect from healthy diet and exercise. Men like women in all different shapes and sizes and male locker room chat can get particularly heated as men compare their different likes and dislikes of celebrity bums.

Some men like the cheeky pert bum of Cheryl Cole whereas other men prefer a more full bodied J-Lo type of bum. If you have a J-Lo Type of bum it is no point trying to change it with diet and exercise into the Cheryl Cole type of bum. Some women have flat bums like Gwyneth Paltrow which some men love but others detest claiming that a bum needs to be at least as full bodied as Kelly Brook’s.

Keeping your backside in shape requires healthy diet and exercise like any other part of your body and you should not be overly critical of it. If you are thin and healthy and you still think your bum is too small or too big remember that it is your unique shape and you should try to love it rather than change it.
