Lose Weight, Eat As Much As You Like, Run A Marathon

think how much food you can eat when you are training for your marathon

There are different sorts of people in this world who have different eating habits and lifestyles.  For example some people really do not think about food very much and are quite happy to nibble on a salad all day, whereas other people love to eat large meals, rich and fine food and take great pleasure in eating.

lose weight, eat as much as you like, run a marathon

If you are one of the former you really do not have much to worry about when it comes to maintaining your weight. It comes to you naturally and you can therefore afford to live a pretty relaxed and inactive life. If on the other hand you like to eat alot unless you are prepared to do some exercise you are going to get fat!

It is possible to eat a lot of delicious food and stay slim but you are going to need to do regular exercise and by this we do not mean a twenty minute run three times a week. What you need to do is commit to at least four hours of intensive exercise every week. One of the best ways to maintain weight with exercise is by running and it is amazing how quickly your endurance will build up if you start running on a regular basis.

Probably the best way to drastically up your fitness level would be to commit to running a marathon! You might think that this is a little bit extreme but if you set yourself the goal of running a marathon you will probably up your overall fitness level in the long term. Also, think how much food you will be able to eat when you are training for your marathon!

If you have run for example 20km in a day as part of your training you can probably eat as much as you like on that day without gaining an ounce in fat. Marathon runners have to stock up on carbohydrates in order to run the whole distance and this means eating big quantities before and after running.

So rather than beating around the bush and doing small short runs a few times a week why not run a marathon every now and again and give yourself a break from eating small low calorie meals!

Sounds good but in reality it might be different! One has to burn 3500 calories to lose 1lb and if you eat a 1000 calorie slice of cake you will gain. More than 1lb! Can someone explain why?
