Looking good makes you feel good!

While many people lose weight because they know it is good for their health and will prevent them from getting a whole list of illnesses associated with being overweight and obese, the biggest motivation for losing weight is without a doubt the visual aspect of being thin.

Look Good Feel Good

If you are overweight you tend to feel less confident about yourself and your abilities but when you are of a normal weight and in good shape you feel better and this comes across in your dealings with friends and work colleagues. Looking good makes you feel good!

You need to be very aware of this important aspect of weight loss and focus on it as a motivation to continue losing weight. Set yourself targets and goals so that when you do shed a certain amount of weight you reward yourself. One of the best ways to reward yourself for weight loss is going out to buy new clothes because this will reinforce your motivation to keep losing weight. If you get positive comments from friends and family about your new body image you are less probable to fall off the bandwagon start eating unhealthily again.

Shopping for clothes when you are thinner is a really rewarding experience and something that all women love doing. Instead of being embarrassed and humiliated when the shop assistant asks you for your size you can confidently rattle it off.

One other weight loss trick is to buy a dress or maybe a bikini that you want to fit into sometime in the future and make it your target. Focusing your weight loss efforts on one clear goal helps you with your motivation. At Ukmedix News we have seen how happy people are when they achieve their weight loss targets and how it changes their complete outlook on life. Never believe that you can’t lose weight, you just need the motivation to do it.

This is total nonsense, having lost weight I now have a lot less confidence than I had before and hate the idea of shopping for clothes - I can't think of anything worse in the world!!!!!

Ann I do not agree with you at all, I think your response is not the normal one, I too have lost weight and have gone down three dress sizes and am very very happy and feel so much more confident. Maybe you have some other issues that need to be dealt with, don't ignore them.
