A new weight loss product which is being advertised in the United Kingdom is apparently selling very well. The product is not a medication but in fact a pair of large briefs for women. The idea is that these LipoContour briefs will “refine and lift” the female form as well as take a few inches off your hips and your thighs. Unusually for most corsets however is that the manufacturers claim that as well as giving your body a cosmetic lift these briefs can even make you lose weight just by wearing them.

Apparently the elasticated shorts contain 2 very thin and tight layers of mesh material which creates a permanent “micro massage effect” that will increase your blood circulation, help to smooth out cellulite and even breakdown fatty deposits. Professor Marco Gasparotti who designed the shorts even claims that they can help with the lymphatic drainage process of the human body which will remove harmful toxins too.
It seems too good to be true, and our rule at Ukmedix News is that if it does seem too easy then the chances that it is! Possibly there may be a very small weight loss effect by wearing these briefs but over the long term you have to face facts and remember the only way to shed weight is to reduce the amount of calories that you eat and get some exercise. Products like these can be dangerous because they give people the false idea that they can lose fat without any effort on their own and therefore they are lulled towards a false sense of security and actually put on weight.
There is no doubt that a product like this can actually make women feel more confident about their shape because of the cosmetic effect that it has on their bodies but they should not become reliant on them and should always remember that healthy eating and exercise come first.
