Reductil is very safe if it is used correctly and with a prescription

The medicines regulatory authority in Ireland, the Irish Medicines Board has issued a warning concerning a slimming product which can be bought on a number of web sites. Ukmedix News has warned a number of times about this particular product called LiDa Daidaihua which comes in the form of a tablet that the manufacturers claim is completely natural and herbal.

The warning from the Irish Medicines Board said that anyone who had this slimming product should stop taking it and immediately “quarantine it”. They said that it is possible that the LiDa Daidaihua Tablets had been adulterated with “inappropriate substances”.

Ukmedix News has learned from various health authorities around the world that these tablets should be avoided because they contain a compound called sibutramine which is a prescription medication that forms part of the appetite suppressant Reductil. The weight loss medication Reductil which is available in the United Kingdom with a prescription should only be used by certain people and can be dangerous if used by people with heart problems or high blood pressure. Reductil is very safe if it is used correctly and with a prescription.

The LiDa Daidaihua tablets are in fact illegal as they have not been registered as a medication in the United Kingdom and therefore should not be used by anyone. LiDa Daidaihua Tablets are green in colour and come in an aqua-green box.

Ukmedix News advises everyone that they should they stay away from Chinese weight loss products as many of them are not produced legally and are not traditional or herbal despite the fact that they say they are. Illegal weight loss products have been known to cause serious health issues and in some cases even kill the people who use them. Weight loss products should only be used with the advice of a doctor or with a prescription.
