Kirstie Alley is one of those people who has been plagued with weight problems all of her life and is likely to have some sort of issue with what she is eating for the rest of it. Kirstie has a psychological compulsion to eat too much and is often unable to face the reality of her situation. These people live in denial for most of their lives before circumstances get so bad that they are forced to face up to the situation they are in.

Kirstie Alley who made worldwide headlines after slimming down dramatically and appearing in a bikini on the The Oprah Winfrey Show in 2006 has now put all the weight back on and says that she is surprise surprise “horrified”! Apparently she “discovered she weighed 230lb.” and was disgusted with herself, (like she didn’t notice when she weighed 200lb., 210lb., 220lb. and so on!)
Kirstie Alley who inspired so many men and women around the world with the way she spoke about her 75lb. weight loss has disappointed a lot of her fans and she knows this. She said that not only has she let herself down but she has let other people down and that those people who looked up to her and respected her for losing so much weight will be disillusioned.
Kirstie who is back on the diet bandwagon for her reality TV show the Big Life said that she had a great time putting on all of the weight and that for the last few years every single meal she had “was an event”. She said that she’d never had so much fun putting on weight but then at the same time she says that she’s disgusted with herself and that she had been irresponsible.
Kirstie is would probably benefit from psychological counseling rather than being given a diet and exercise plan. She knows how to lose weight, she’s done it before. She knows what’s good for and what is not, but her problem is that she doesn’t want to face reality and would rather live in denial. She even knows that her weight problem is a personal responsibility issue and admits this when she says that she’s been irresponsible and that’s why she’s fat.
If only she’d said that 4 years ago!

This is very disapointing but very much a reality, every one who loses weight through dieting ends up putting it all back on again. All normal people enjoy going out and having a good meal, and thats ok, but if an overweight person does the same she is labeled and weak! It just in not fair!
