The Oscar winning movie star Gwyneth Paltrow has come out saying that she keeps her svelte shape not by dieting or by watching her food but by making sure that she gets a good deal of exercise every day. Gwyneth said “I just cannot diet!!”, as she was interviewed by Oprah Winfrey on her famous show. She says that she would rather have the liberty and luxury of being able to consume what she wants and make up for it by working up a sweat in a workout than having to cut out all her favourite foods.

Gwyneth who is the mother of two small children said that cutting out certain foods from her diet merely increased the cravings for them and she couldn’t live like this. For her the best way to shed the weight that she put on after her pregnancies was to work out consistently and regularly. She noted that after her second child it was more difficult for her to lose the extra pounds and she put this down to the realisation that she was now in her thirties and no longer in her twenties.
What Gwyneth has to say about losing weight is interesting because it shows that different people approach weight loss in different ways and it is important that you as a person examine your lifestyle and find ways to come up with a sustainable method of losing weight. Some individuals are happy to eat very small portions of very low fat food but for other people food is something they greatly enjoy and they can’t do without. Other people actually really enjoy exercise and the gym and therefore they should concentrate more on this.
You should try all different weight loss tips until you find something which you are comfortable with. Many people are surprised that after sticking out the gym for a few weeks they actually really begin to enjoy it and make it an integral part of their day.
